Viper 2013
Mucho se ha hablado sobre la próxima generación del Viper, pero hasta ahora, poco se ha visto. Por no decir nada. Sabemos por boca Ralph Gilles que será un coche agresivo y a la vez de curvas femeninas, con un motor V8 como complemento al conocido 8.4 V10 (previsiblemente perfeccionado con la tecnología Multiair de Fiat, si es que las normas anticontaminación no lo tumban) y un enfoque menos radical, limando asperezas y mejorando su rodaje para poder enfrentarse en mejores condiciones al Chevrolet Corvette. Hoy, a todo esto podemos añadir las primeras imágenes del frontal.
Aunque montado sobre una mula de pruebas con la mayor parte de la carrocería de la última generación, el Viper de estas imágenes camufla como puede un nuevo morro, con una calandra en punto de mira actualizada, unos faros más afilados y nuevas aperturas de ventilación en el capó. El camuflaje deja ver lo justo para que el coche pueda respirar, pero sirve ya para que podamos ir elaborando un sencillo retrato robot del letal crótalo de Dodge, que no verá oficialmente la luz del sol hasta la segunda mitad de 2012.
