Varios meses después de mostrarlo en forma de show truck, Jeep y Mopar han ofrecido los detalles pertinentes de su conversión JK-8, que tendrá un precio de 5.499 dólares en EEUU y podrá ser instalado en los concesionarios autorizados de la marca. El paquete completo, desarrollado específicamente para el modelo Unlimited, está compuesto por una plancha de acero para proteger los bajos, estribos, paneles laterales y una tapa de fibra de vidrio para la caja entre otros componentes (tienes el despiece completo en la galería).
Posiblemente, lo mejor del kit JK-8 es que Mopar lo venderá directamente a particulares, de forma que quien quiera ahorrarse unos dólares, podrá montarlo en casa sin problema alguno. El Wrangler es uno de los todoterrenos más sencillos y modulares del mercado, y por lo que vemos en la galería, la instalación del paquete tiene que ser casi coser y cantar.
